Unusual ozone hole spotted over the Arctic by satellite

A strong reduction in the ozone concentrations over the Arctic have been noticed by scientists using the data from the Copernicus Sentinel-5P satellite. Ozone levels have plummeted due to unusual atmospheric conditions, which include freezing temperatures in the stratosphere. This has resulted in a ’mini-hole’ in the ozone layer.

The stratosphere is at thinnest in it's cycle Naturally it should be colder But i will admit i didn't know that would lessen the ozone layer?
