Primaries underway in Wisconsin amid coronavirus concerns

The Primaries have been underway in Wisconsin amid coronavirus concerns as the governor’s bid to delay the state’s primaries were denied during a last minute court decision. Nearly two hours of wait hours were seen as the poll stations are facing a dearth of staff.

I am impressed with the dedication of the poll staff who did work and the voters who were dedicated enough to vote despite all of the obstacles put in their way. Many of them tried to vote absentee but were thwarted by the combined facts of too little election staff to process the enormous surge of applications and the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the state couldn't extend the deadline for receipt of absentee ballots.
