Walmart faces a wrongful-death lawsuit from the family of a worker, Wando Evans, 51, who died of coronavirus complications in Chicago. The suit alleges that the retailer failed to provide workers with protective masks and gloves, failed to suitably disinfect the store and failed to be straight up with workers about the risks they faced.
You think the family will be able to prove he contracted the virus AT his job site? No way. And if not, Walmart can't be held liable.
This lawsuit should just be dismissed. The lawsuit happy nature of the United States is just ridiculous. This just seems like people wanting to cash in.
