Cuomo directs flags flown at half-staff in honor of coronavirus victims

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Wednesday announced that NY state had set a new single-day record of 779 COVID-19 related deaths on Tuesday, and said that he is ordering flags on state property to be lowered to half-staff to pay tribute to those who have died. The governor put up pictures of some of the New Yorkers fighting on the front lines who were killed, and later tweeted,’They are in our hearts.’
