Former New York Assemblyman Richard Brodsky dies of suspected coronavirus

Former New York state Assemblyman Richard Brodsky died Wednesday after experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19. He was 73. The Westchester Democrat served in the Legislature from 1983 to 2010 and remained a mentor to many in state government after his retirement. His wife said Richard started feeling ill about a week ago and suspected he had COVID-19. He had a fever and was taking Tylenol.
