Half a billion people may end up in poverty due to coronavirus crisis: Oxfam

Half a billion people could be pushed into poverty because of the coronavirus pandemic, Oxfam has warned in its report, adding that it will be the first time that poverty has increased globally in 30 years. ’Covid could lead to a very large increase global poverty, in fact it could send the world back 10 years and could send some regions back 30 years,’ said the co-author of the report Andy Sumner

True, the virus will set us back, but only for while and I believe that we will come out of it better and stonger
