Interior Minister’s resignation rejected by Turkey’s Erdogan

The resignation of the Turkish Interior Minister has been rejected by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Interior Minister took the blame for a botched lockdown and gave his resignation for the same. Mass panic was created after a 48-hour curfew had been declared at a very short notice which caused thousands to swarm shops across Turkey.

I'm getting kind of tired of these highly edumacated folks predicting wildly outlandish mortality numbers and then all of a sudden a nice new government policy gets rolled out based on those ridiculous numbers. At this point the mortality rate is so low that the disease is either nothing to worry about in a bigger sense, or the cheap Chinese tests have a bunch of false positives which means it's not as contagious.
