Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced Sunday that he signed a series of new measures into law aimed at expanding access to voting, including making Election Day a state holiday. In addition, Northam signed expansion of early voting to be allowed 45 days before an election without a stated reason, repeal of Virginia’s strict voter ID law and adoption of automatic voter registration.
Making Election Day a holiday is a good idea. Now it should be implemented federally across all 50 states.
This guy is a crook with what he's done with gun restriction on his State. Glad I don't live in Virginia, but they need to get him out.
Great! Now all Virginians can take the time to vote that idiot governor out of office.
Wow, even the dead can vote now.. And with no I'd you can vote twice.
Wow, he's gettin' all kinds of work done, now that no one is watching him, and people can't protest.
If you claim you can't vote on election day because of work, you're an idiot.
Guess who's house is being watched now.
We the public "thank you" for your courage in making right a "wrong" that has gone on much too long in this country!
This is a great man after God's own heart; knocking down many racist obstructions allowed in the South!
This guy is the biggest leftist hack. He's going to turn VA into the new CA.
I have always said voting day should be a paid holiday. But you can rest assured if this snake in the grass wants it he has a plan to violate other rights using this as a cover. If civil war breaks out he will not last 3 days.
