Trump retweets call to fire Dr. Fauci

Trump retweets call to fire Dr. Fauci

President Trump retweeted a ’#firefauci’ tweet, raising speculation of a strained relationship with the top disease expert. Trump retweeted Republican DeAnna Lorraine’s post in an effort to prove that a recent NYT report that said he was slow to act on the COVID-19 outbreak was ’fake news’. Lorraine’s tweet included, ’Time to #FireFauci’. Fauci said that earlier action could have saved more lives.

Trump would be an idiot to fire Fauci. Fauci has by far, along with Deobrah Birx, been the most sensible person on that stage

Trump:Retweets Media:BREAKING NEWS!

I’m pretty sure this is just the media looking to stir the pot within the President’s administration. Doesn’t matter that the situation is critical and they need a team effort. Anything that could look like turmoil in the White House is good in their eyes, and if they can’t find any they’ll make some.

I believe that would make it two people in as many weeks Trump has fired for doing their job 😄

While everyone was fawning over Fauci, I kept thinking, don't forget his roots. I am waiting for his complete mutiny. Likely, he wanted to wait until the immediate crisis was over. This is a "deep stater" if you will. A lifelong employee that feels they know better than the elected official. They may in fact know better within their specific domain, but fail to consider the larger picture. This principle is true in any organization that rotates through leadership.

Of course, Trump's thinking of firing Fauci. I am surprised he was able to stay on for so long. We are doomed!

Man. Trump retweets something calling out the media for lying, and the media decides to focus on something else in the tweet! Who could’ve guessed this would happen.

Good. The guy is constantly contradicting Dr. Birx. When you watch both of them iit is a huge headache. Other then Dr. Fauci urging caution he has be about has consistent has pulsar.

Can someone remind everyone that a retweet can be a bad thing as well as a good thing. It can be a "look at this shit" reaction as much as a "I agree with this" reaction. This is literally meaningless without context. Why are all of the media representatives so old and stupid. Elder once meant something now it just means dementia or ignore him he's senile. Fuck I hate these people.

A President that's can't accept criticism or be a man to accept responsibility should not be in office as President.

He sure as hell better not. What would be funny is if, now that everyone knows him so well, the media ignored Trump and only went to Faucci from now on, until lockdown was lifted.

Seriously? Why? He needs to chill on that. From what I've seen, Fauchi has done well given the information. He also praised trump a few times. Clown.

Firing one of the few people who knows what they are doing is such a Trump move. When it comes to the economy or whatever, then fine. But when it comes to a life threatening pandemic, it’s a horrible idea as too many Americans already lost their lives due to Trump’s incompetence. If Trump wants people to kiss his ass, then he already has enough supporters who do that (thus leading to the toilet paper shortage). But too many lives are at stake to be screwing around just to stroke his ego.

This really isn’t a great time to be an American - I grew up in the 80’s and all we wanted to do when we were kids was go to America and drive Route 66, see time square, try to get our music out there. It’s actually quite sad how things turn out. A much older, wiser me realises now that The USA is at best a playground for capitalists, where the wealthy, the 1% live free gratis with all the benefits. At worst it’s a completely race driven country, so polerised by their own history and the ridiculous two party system that a reality tv host (Republican) was the better choice than a centrist “Government” officail who’s political background runs deep. Even though Saunders dropped out, his movement rolls on. Keep your chins in the air...
