Doctors reattach Indian policeman’s hand cut off during lockdown

Doctors have reattached the hand of an Indian policeman that was cut off when attacked while enforcing the coronavirus lockdown in Punjab. Sub-inspector Harjeet Singh is recuperating in the hospital and is expected to recover completely. Eleven people, reportedly from the Nihang Sikh religious sect, have been arrested. Punjab CM Singh has congratulated the medical team for the surgery.
