U.S. approves sale of $155 million worth of missiles and torpedoes to India

The Trump Administration on Monday told Congress that it will allow India to buy Harpoon Block II air launched missiles and lightweight MK 54 Exercise Torpedoes for $155 million. According to the Pentagon, the Harpoon missile system will be used for anti-surface warfare missions in defense of critical sea lanes. While the Harpoon missiles will be manufactured by Boeing, the torpedoes by Raytheon.
