How the Indian state Kerala flattened the COVID -19 curve

The Indian state of Kerala acted early against COVID-19 with aggressive testing and containment beginning Jan. 18. They appear to have limited the outbreak with maximum daily infections of 39 on Mar. 27 and only 2 on Apr. 12. They set up monitoring at airports isolating people with fever or sore throats, a 28-day quarantine and ordering tests and PPE. A strong public health system also helped.
