ESPN asks commentators to take a 15% pay cut because of coronavirus

ESPN has asked its 100 highest paid commentators to take voluntary 15% pay cuts over the next three months. ’These are challenging times and we are all in this together,’ read a statement on Monday informing about the cut. The pay cut follows executives at the network having their pay reduced by 20% to 30% depending on title. These measures are designed to ward off further furloughs at the network

Is it that poor that all workers, except for the big bosses who will be given all of those 15%s, need to have a pay cut?
