IRS launches Get My Payment site to ease filing and tracking for stimulus checks

On Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has launched a website -- Get My Payment -- that allows people to check the status of their coronavirus stimulus payment. The site also provides information about eligibility and how to file for those who need to do so.

Got mine today. Gonna sit on it and hope I don't need it. If this all blows over by Summer in going to build a new Plex server with it and what's left over will go to a new gaming PC.

Good thing I already filed my taxes. I was going to hold off but there I heard about this. No reason not to file anyway. Of course, we're going to pay back that money anyway since this is a case of taking from the pockets of our future selves to pay for the problems of today. I do understand it's necessary (until the economy is reopened, which I hope is very soon) but we're paying for this one way or another. It's true that our money is borderline worthless anymore but we still have to pay for it.

@skeptic are you not allowed to link to the IRS website or something? I'm very curious as to why it's not in the links.

We paid back $2,400 this year. I'm getting my money back.
