Protests break out in Michigan over state’s stay-at-home order

Thousands of Michigan residents who oppose Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order blocked traffic Wednesday by descending on the state’s Capitol in Lansing. The protest was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, who characterize the Governor’s stay-at-home order, which she extended last week till April end while toughening the terms of the order, as an unjust power-grab.
