Dr. Birx slams China and WHO for ’delayed response’ to coronavirus crisis

Dr. Deborah Birx, appearing on ABC’s ’The View’ on Wednesday lashed out at the World Health Organization and China, and blamed them for the delayed response to the coronavirus crisis. In Wuhan, Chinese scientists modified a bat virus to be contagious in humans. Not sure what else you need to know. It's no secret. Video put out by scientist Zhengli-Li Sh that collected the Yunnan bat virus they modified in the lab. https://youtu.be/mvbyRdRRb7o https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0966842X16300038 Study on how they modified the wild bat virus to make it infectious to humans. In order to predict whether a SARS-related bat CoV, named WIV1-CoV, discovered in Chinese horseshoe bats in Yunnan [6], had the potential to emerge in humans, Menachery et al. synthesized a full-DNA clone based on the sequence of the virus [1]. "The clone was shown to be able to generate infectious virus in primary human airway epithelial cell " "There are fears that accidental release of these ‘super-virulent’ viruses or their use as biological weapons may lead to uncontrollable epidemics"
