How US funding cuts will affect the WHO

US President Donald Trump has announced that the US will cut funding from the WHO. The US is currently the largest financial contributor to funding the WHO making up 14.67% of their total budget, providing the WHO with $553 million dollars in 2019. This controversial decision is claimed to have a damaging impact on the WHO’s ability to properly manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
