The middle seat may be left empty to attract air passengers

EasyJet said that it was considering leaving middle seats empty to create more space for passengers when flights resume. However rival Ryanair said that leaving the middle-seat empty is a ’hopelessly ineffective’ way to keep passengers safe and is unaffordable for airlines. Instead it has suggested the introduction of mandatory temperature checks and face masks for passengers and crew.

there's no point of this gesture when the space between you and the front passenger is 2 CENTIMETERS!!
