Lebanon Covid-19 crisis raises fears of welfare of domestic workers

In Lebanon, the economic meltdown has already dwindled the household incomes and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has only added to the woes. Hence both Amnesty Int & the International Labour Organization fear that many domestic workers are not being paid. There are concerns that, with families in lockdown, workers are forced into more intensive and dangerous work inside as well as outside homes.
