LGBTQ students harassed in ’horrific’ incident at Bucknell University

Officials at Bucknell University in Lewisburg have condemned an incident in which LGBTQ students were harassed at an affinity house last week. The incident took place at Tower House: Fran’s House, an affinity house that provides LGBTQ-friendly housing for Bucknell students. A group of male students allegedly approached the residence and ’harassed and intimidated the residents.’

Funny how when it’s a certain tribes of people getting harassed it’s labeled as traumatic. But when white people get harassed it’s justice.

There is more to this, and it will be interesting to see. However, why is this horrific and traumatic? Were they in real danger of real harm? What about when it went the other way? Why is that not horrific? Thousands of rioters destroying businesses and attacking cars vs. some people pissing on a lawn and trying to get in. Both can be scary, but not horrific.

Headline and summary should say; previous tenant frat boys came back and continued the behaviors that got them removed two years ago. The new tenants happen to be easily upset and were scared by the frat boys making noise and pissing on the porch.

“It is clear from multiple accounts that the students violated the physical space and, far more importantly, the residents’ sense of place and security,” the president wrote It is hard to take this seriously, when the argument being made is that hurt feelings/emotional insecurities were apparently the most important violation that occurred.

Just because someone decides to do something stupid doesn't make you a victim of anything. Read the full story, it had nothing to do with them and more to do with the frat house which they were kicked out of for hazing. Something is terribly wrong when you actually want to be a victim.

Former fraternity Bros that use to live there (before the house became LGBT specific) got drunk, tried to enter their old College building yelling , "Let us in, this is OUR HOUSE!" -This seems to more a case of LGBT people being at the scene of mass trespassing and disorderly conduct than a hate crime. Though there might be some legit critism to how office handle the situation, or they desculated the situation fine but the nanny state wants to cuddle their students more. I want more info before making a final call on how the situation was handled.

Doesn't smell right, I believe they are exaggerating the incident. Where are the videos? In a time when everyone carries a camera phone someone would have most likely took footage.

I think there are university rules about firearms on campus. But it certainly would be quite a turn of events if liberals were to wield guns in self defense from being attacked by anti liberal bigots. How fitting would it be if a handful of furries came out wielding AR15's and in classic Rambo style made them all handcuff each other in a lovely humiliating daisy chain around the flag pole and sing "I'm a little teapot", until real security arrived. Oh and we can't forget to capture it on video, for posterity sake. I mean, bullys like to film things right? We wouldn't want them to forget such a memorable night, now would we? Don't get mad at me, I'm just a moose. Sometimes I say stupid things.

A march against toxic masculinity was organised in response to this. US, the softest country in the world right now. Someone gets rattled by noisy frat boys and all of a sudden masculinity is to blame. Man, I feel sorry for the last handful of mentally sane people that are left in US.

Less harassment, more “Drunken Nonsense”. The only reason they put LGBT harassment was for the clicks. Not really newsworthy.

Imagine thinking this behavior has anything to do with "LGBTQ harassment." Even if they were being harassed, who cares?

did they call them names and thereby (SJW) commit violence to these "people"?

Maybe crack down on illegal campus drinking and the generally degenerated culture, and then tell the easily offended to go back home to mommy if they can't handle some words. Both parties are loathsome.
