In an effort to curb Android app subscription scams, Google has tightened Play Store rules. A new policy bans apps that use deceptive language or imagery to trick users into subscriptions. Apps now have to be clear about a plan’s cost, frequency and terms, including whether or not there will be an automatic renewal. They should also explain how to cancel service before expiry of trial period.

Why not just inform me about these apps and letting me make my own decisions?
