Google bans apps with deceptive subscription offers

In an effort to curb Android app subscription scams, Google has tightened Play Store rules. A new policy bans apps that use deceptive language or imagery to trick users into subscriptions. Apps now have to be clear about a plan’s cost, frequency and terms, including whether or not there will be an automatic renewal. They should also explain how to cancel service before expiry of trial period.
