Brian Dennehy, Tony Award-winning actor, dies at 81

Brian Dennehy, best known for his roles in ’Cocoon’ and ’First Blood’, and his Tony Award winning performances in ’Death of a Salesman’ and ’Long Day’s Journey Into Night’, died Wednesday night of natural causes in New Haven, Conn. He was 81. Dennehy started in films as a macho heavy and later in his career won plaudits for his stage work in plays by William Shakespeare, and Arthur Miller.
