China’s post first quarterly GDP decline since at least 1992

China’s first quarter GDP shrank 6.8% in 2020 as compared to a year ago. This has been the first quarterly decline since 1992. Economists meanwhile said they ’expect a significant sequential recovery in Q2 as economic life returns to normal’. As per sources China is set to unleash trillions of yuan of fiscal stimulus to revive the economy. On Wednesday, the central bank cut the interest rate.

China (inadvertently or not?) dropped a pandemic upon the world. Killing hundreds of thousands, destroying trillions in productivity. The WORLD should be demanding changes in Beijing. Their system of government FAILED when it lied about the origin, the fatality, and the contagiousness of the virus. The WORLD needs a change. No more totalitarian governments in the world economy. Nixon's gambit is a failure.

Huh, what is an opinion piece doing linked in here? That's against the policies. Oooh, and look at the Leftist bias in it! Wonder which Leftist mod approved it? This sort of shenanigans damages NV's credibility as a News app. Wonder why the admins let it happen...

What rubbish is this. The Coronavirus benefits neither China or the USA. The United States was the world's sole true superpower before the Coronavirus and will likely remain so after the crisis has ended.

Every penny we spend fighting this has better come out of our debt to China. It’s time to stand up to them before they start committing genocides abroad as well as in their homeland.
