El Chapo’s daughter, Mexican cartels hand out coronavirus aid

A daughter of drug lord Joaquin ’El Chapo’ Guzman along with several Mexican cartels have been doling out aid packages to help residents ride out the COVID-19 pandemic. Guzman’s daughter, Alejandrina, helped distribute oil, sugar, rice and other items in Mexico’s city of Guadalajara. Previously too cartels have a history of trying to win over impoverished communities where they operate.

Don't get caught up in the fee fees, gangs need children and poor folks for recruiting purposes. If they are seen helping it will convince more people to join with them or at the very least it will convince more people not to work with the police. This is expansion disguised as charity.

As much as I would love to like this I know what this is really about . The cartels are trying to buy loyalty after they have been brutalizing the people.

South/Centeral American gangs do this all the time. Make the region that’s their strong hold have more loyalty to them than the centeral government. This is nothing new...
