EU auto sales declined sharply in March due to lockdown

The ACEA figures show that the sales of cars & SUVs in the EU declined by 55% in Mar owing to the lockdown from Covid-19 pandemic. Fiat Chrysler witnessed sales decline of 76.6% at 22,070. Groupe PSA was next worst performer with sales decline of 68.1 % at 68,816. Similarly Renault sales stood lower by 64.7% at 55,663. However BMW sales decline was lowest with 40.7% to 43,423 units.
