Poll: Majority of Americans say Trump was too slow to address COVID-19

According to a new poll by the Pew Research Center, 65% of Americans claim that President Trump was too slow in reacting when COVID-19 cases were first reported in other countries. The survey was conducted April 7-12 among a sample 4,917 American adults. 52% said Trump’s public comments on the COVID-19 outbreak are making the situation seem better than it really is.

Polls are unscientific. Trump started making task forces when the leftists were busy passing out souvenir pens. Trump closed some borders when the leftists were busy celebrating the impeachment. Trump never told anyanyone to go to Chinatown, I don't think I've heard trump say it's like the flu, I've heard plenty of talking heads say just that. TDS is very real and it hits NPCs pretty hard.

Now no one on this site likes polls? Funny. They were very popular here when trump got a popularity bump at the onset of this pandemic due to the ‘rally around the flag’ phenomenon. I guess now that his approval rating has slipped and the corona virus briefings he uses as propaganda/political briefings are growing tiresome it makes sense the public has a negative view of his (in)action taken to spread the virus. Probably doesn’t help he evades reporter’s questions about specific preventive measures he had taken once learning about the gravity of the situation.

Every nation and government body responded to the pandemic too slowly, but the most important of these is the WHO, the guidance of which all the slow-acting nations, including the US, was following. Perhaps the only nation to respond appropriately was Taiwan, and it was the WHO who shoved Taiwan onto the margins. Make no mistake, fault for this global crisis rests squarely with the WHO and its corrupt association with the Chinese Communist Party. There is no other reasonable place to lay blame.

Who cares about who was too slow to deal with this when severity projections keep getting lower and lower. Trump is now too slow in pushing for opening things back up.
