Hong Kong police detain democracy activists in raids

Hong Kong police arrested 14 activists in raids on Saturday on charges of illegal assembly. This is the biggest crackdown on the city’s pro-democracy movement since the outbreak of protests last year. Among those detained were prominent Democratic Party founder and senior barrister Martin Lee, 81, publishing tycoon Jimmy Lai, 71, and former legislator and barrister Margaret Ng, 72.

Laugh now but if people don't stand up for their rights it won't be long until the US is like this.

🇺🇸America First🇺🇸 and stand with 🇭🇰Dem'cracy's🇭🇰 values! Help Hong Kong by fighting China back. I have said it for years, since 2012, China is our foremost enemy, not Russia. We are adversarial with Russia, but China is actively attempting to destroy the West, while committing atrocities and showing military aggression including nuclear testing.
