Sweden’s top epidemiologist Anders Tegnell, the architect behind the country’s relaxed response to COVID-19, has said that the latest numbers on infections and deaths shows the situation is starting to stabilize. Sweden has left most facilities including schools, restaurants open throughout the pandemic, criticized by some including US President Trump. ’We’re on a sort of plateau’, Tegnell said.
Don’t know what all the negative comments are about Sweden doing it wrong. They have 1.500 deaths without a lockdown. That’s still incredibly low compared to England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France who are under full lockdown. The Netherlands has also adopted the no lockdown policy and has fewer desths than those previously mentioned. Food for thought.
