Trump trails Biden by 8 points despite record high approval, shows poll

President Trump trails former VP Biden by 8 percentage points in a new national survey by the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll. This comes despite Trump’s job approval rating at 49%, the highest since March 2017. The survey also found that 56% of voters approved of Trump’s handling of the economy and 51% supported his handling of the COVID-19. In a head-to-head matchup, Biden leads Trump 54% to 46%.

This will be first election in US history that one party will focus more on the VP than the presidential nominee. Bidens first 90 days will be him being removed from office by his own party. Thats how they plan to get the first female president.

Polls are not designed to reflect public opinion. They are designed to shape it.

This is hilarious. Literally no one likes Biden. More BS poll work by the fake news establishment...

Well said Ivory. I guess the Dems learned this from the CCP. After all that's how China whips its people to shape, via propaganda. Polls are now mere propaganda tools. This poll is good. Hopefully it galvanize and brings out the majority of freedom-loving Americans who want to get rid of the MSM BS once again to vote. We don't want Hunter to once again be on the board of some Chinese company do we?

at this point, polls are unreliable indicators of public opinion, especially with how wrong they have been.

hopefully enough senators with courage to overide his Medicare veto will be voted into Congress.

Has anyone seen these Trump approval ads? It says "YES/NO" on the ad but there's no option to say "NO" on the form. So responding is an automatic approval while there's no way to disapprove.

Used to feel a bit disappointed that I would never again see the apocalyptic wasteland of devastated Leftist hopes after Trump’s victory in 2016. However these polls are giving me a little hope again.

Agregate? Picking out one poll rarely holds weight or truth. Get the average instead of running with your favorite outlier.

A poll in a vacuum is meaningless. Look to aggregates, such as RCP averages.

If the last half a decade has demonstrated anything it's that pre-election polls are about as useful as tits on a bull. And that Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.
