Tony Spell, a controversial pastor has defended his comments wherein he urged parishioners to donate their $1,200 stimulus checks to his church. Mr. Spell made the appeal despite the fact that religious organizations can also apply for the same. Mr. Spell’s comments had also received backlash from many people.
