The federal government is set to get back the $10 million small business loan given by it to Burger chain Shake Shack. The decision has been taken after the burger chain faced criticism from the public as large restaurant chains received the funds before the depletion of the loan program.

There should be a much more stringent approval process for which companies get this money. 10 million could go a long way to propping up several small businesses. Shake Shack pulled in 600 million in 2019.
