Austria to reopen restaurants, churches and some schools from May 15

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Tuesday that the country will allow bars, restaurants and churches to reopen on May 15 in a further loosening of its COVID-19 lockdown. Austria has been among the first to loosen its lockdown, allowing DIY stores, garden centers and shops of less than 400 square meters, to reopen a week ago. Shopping centers, larger shops, will follow from May 1.
