Trump says he will sign executive order on immigration but allow guest workers

Trump has said he will sign an executive order Wednesday halting all immigration. But after objections from businesses, he will allow the guest worker program to continue. More people enter the U.S. under the guest worker program than as permanent residents. Most applications for permanent residence are from people already in the U.S. on temporary visas.

Yes! 🙌🏼 God bless you. Let’s just go ahead and keep the boarders closed for a few years too...we are over capacity as it is.

This should be expanded to temporary workers as well. Americans want to work. The only reason businesses take foreigners is because they’re cheap and CEOs are greedy. The south also imported a cheap worker class of slave labor and it kept their economy in the gutter compared to the north. “But who will cut my lawns and vacuum my house?” Cries the racist liberal, not wanting to give up his cheap foreign servant caste. “Who will pick the cotton - uh, I mean berries?”

How will the Democrats hire their Chinese handlers? https://nypost.com/2018/08/08/dianne-feinstein-was-an-easy-mark-for-chinas-spy/ Dianne Feinstein was an easy mark for China’s spy Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has been investigating allegations of President Trump’s “collusion” with Russia. But now we learn Feinstein may be the one compromised by a foreign power. Turns out that Communist China had a spy in her office. A 20-year employee of Feinstein’s, the agent had been reporting back to China’s Ministry of State Security for well over a decade before he was caught in 2013, according to the FBI.

So I wonder what their excuse will be as to why he's wrong now. He tried to close the boarders in early January and they hazed him then. Now they blame him for not acting quickly enough. Now is he still racist or because he's acted too late are we going to complain that it's too late to close the boarder?

Just hope this is a sincere effort to fix the H1B1 Visa scam which has been used to replace American workers with foreign workers who are paid much less. The American workers have been required to train their replacements before being put out to pasture. Not sure this EO addresses that problem. But in principle, it sounds like a step in the right direction. Of course we need seasonal workers but they should be allowed to work here legally.

Traitor Kushner watered down the EO. Fuck him.

Allowing the work visas was a harmful compromise. That means the executive order will fail to protect Americans' jobs.

Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told a private audience that the U.S. needs more immigrants to keep the economy growing, according to an audio recording of his remarks obtained by The Washington Post. “We are desperate — desperate — for more people,” Mulvaney said at the gathering in England. “We are running out of people to fuel the economic growth that we’ve had in our nation over the last four years. We need more immigrants." Mulvaney's comments on immigration were revealed after a separate speech in England, also first reported by the Post, where he called out Republicans for ignoring budget deficits under President Trump. "My party is very interested in deficits when there is a Democrat in the White House. The worst thing in the whole world is deficits when Barack Obama was the president. Then Donald Trump became president, and we’re a lot less interested as a party," Mulvaney said at the Oxford Union.

LOL! These pro-immigration businesses have Trump wrapped around their greedy fingers! A real economic patriot would ban the practice of exploiting guest workers, make these businesses pay an living wage, and hire Americans first! Trump has broken every promise since his campaign and has governed like a regular Republican! Trump is basically like Jeb Bush now! 😂
