Donna Shalala apologizes for not reporting stock trades

Rep. Donna Shalala (D-Fla.) Wednesday apologized for failing to report sales of stock last year after her election to the House. Shalala said she sold the stocks to avoid any conflict of interest, but missed the deadlines for reporting the transactions. Republicans are calling her to step down from the committee overseeing coronavirus funds, but Nancy Pelosi said she will remain on the committee.
