Two New York cats become first US pets to test positive for COVID-19

The first pets in the US, two cats from NY, have tested positive for the coronvirus. The cats are showing mild symptoms and are expected to be fine. One cat was tested after its owner had already tested positive for COVID-19. The other came from a home where no one has a confirmed case. Dr. Fauci said in a briefing that there’s no evidence that the virus is transmitted from pets to humans.
