If you don't know how this affects people, bankruptcy would allow states to default on their pensions to state government employees. Draw your own conclusions.

So after the federal government failed to contain the threat and shut down the economy, they want to leave state employees twisting in the wind. Oh but we can afford to throw 4 trillion at the stock market. Par for the course for Republicans.

Moscow Mitch not moving to protect the security of our elections, nor is he moving to protect children, teachers, first responders, and ordinary citizens. They die while he refuses to even allow debate in the Senate let alone a vote on reasonable gun safety legislation. Over 80% of the people want action on gun safety but Moscow Mitch doesn't think he works for the people, he thinks he works for the NRA, and other corporate big money donors. A big blue Tidal Wave is coming this November and I hope and pray this scumbag gets drowned by it.

you can't have the rest of the countrys tax payers pay for the bad tax and spend policy of these states.... so you can pay more taxes to the feds for the bad decisions of these states or the people in these states pay for their own bad decisions. I think they can deal with their own problems I pay enough in taxes thanks

Can't let the oil industry fall, the airlines, the banks, the richest of the richest, but the people, the small business, the most vulnerable, to fend for themselves. Who more directly help them? The federal government or the states? The top leaders in government had failed respond to covid19, and now they're doing it again.
