African govts have reported a 43% jump in COVID-19 cases in the last week. Previously WHO warned that the continent could become the next epicentre of the pandemic. As per Africa Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the African countries have reported 26,000 cases as of Thu Apr 23. The figure surged from ~16,000 cases a week ago. ~1,200 people have died of COVID-19 on the continent of 1.3B.
Well of course. It's "could" get super duper bad there in 2 weeks. Millions could die. Trust me. I'm an expert.
