Coronavirus growth in India linear, not exponential, says Govt.

The Indian government said Thursday that the COVID-19 growth in the country has been more or less linear and not exponential, adding that the country had fared much better than developed countries like the US and the UK. So far, India has seen 23,502 cases with 722 deaths. The Govt. pointed to improvements in recovery rates and increase in doubling time as indications the lockdown was working.
