Retail sales decline 5.1%; fastest drop rate ever due to coronavirus pandemic

A drop of 5.1 percent in total sales was seen by retail stores from February to March. Warnings have been sent out by analysts that the worst is yet to come as the retail stores try to face the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and shutdown. During this period, clothing sales fell 34.8 percent.
