Study of 81 severe COVID patients finds high doses of Chloroquine unsafe

A study out of Brazil seeking to determine the best dosage of Chloroquine diphosphate for elderly patients with severe COVID-19 has confirmed a known side effect of high doses of Chloroquine. The study gave 81 individuals either high or low dose of Chloroquine diphosphate. The high dosage group experienced higher instances of a prolongation of the time between heartbeats, called the QTc interval.
