The COVID-19 Crisis is driving the EU to the brink.

The COVID-19 Crisis is driving the EU to the brink.

On the 16th April, Ursula Von Der Leyen issued a grovelling apology to Italy for the EU’s utter failure to help when even Cuba was able to supply Italy with doctors when they couldn’t. A week and a half later, the EU still cannot help because no northern European states are paying up to help them out. The obvious is becoming clear to Europe: no-one is willing to fight for the European dream.

Good, let's hope it collapses. Big government sucks anyway, and the EU was never meant to be a political entity, it was intended as an economy union, but as always people grabbed for more power.

Brits leave. 3 months later no one has money to pay for maintenance of EU. Makes you think, was EU basically scamming UK all along out of cash? Howcome they go bankrupt this quick without UK, while at the same time being such snubs towards UK.

The European Dream has morphed into the dream of unelected rulers cashing in big while not being accountable for their actions.
