China arrests former Huawei workers for talking about Iran deal online

Five Chinese citizens were detained for their private chat on the internet about Huawei’s Iranian sales, The New York Times reported, with two of them spending eight and three months, respectively, behind the bars. The publication reported that Chinese police arrested the former Huawei employees in December 2018 over WeChat discussions of claims the company violated sanctions against Iran.
