Sweden cracks down on bars as crowds flout social distancing rules

Sweden said Sunday it was ordering the closure of five Stockholm bars and restaurants that failed to adhere to social distancing guidelines. The Scandinavian country has been in the limelight for having avoided imposing a lockdown and has allowed schools for under-16s, cafes, bars, restaurants and businesses to stay open. Authorities warned last week they would be step up inspections.

The reason Sweden has done so well is they have a population of 10 million across 450,000 sq km. The UK has a population of 66 million across 250,000 sq km.
