China could have stopped COVID-19, says Trump

US President Trump said on Monday that China could have stopped COVID-19 before it swept the globe. ’We’re doing very serious investigations ... We are not happy with China’, Trump said at a news conference. Trump added that he may seek damages from China. ’We haven’t determined the final amount yet’, he said, adding it was ’very substantial’.

1. China could have prevented it by keeping its promises to shutdown its awful wet markets after SARS in 2003. 2. It could have stopped the chain of transmission by taking the disease seriously from the start, instead of scooping the dirt under the rug and disappearing the whistle-blowers. 3. It could've been open with the world the moment it lost control, stop all travel from Wuhan. Etc.
