Volkswagen resumes production at Wolfsburg factory post Covid-19 shutdown

Volkswagen, ~8,000 workers resumed work on Mon at its biggest factory in Wolfsburg, Germany, amid eased Covid-19 lockdown rules.The company initially plans to build 1,400 cars this week, and 6,000 vehicles during the first two weeks after reopening. Production capacity at the plant to be ~10 to 15% in beginning and will reach ~40 of pre-crisis levels in the following week.
