More states easing lockdowns as US cases cross 1 million

COVID-19 cases in the US has topped 1 million while the death toll stands at 56,803. New York, the worst hit in the US, has recorded 298,004 cases with 22,623 deaths. Alongside several US states plan to begin reopening in a bid to revive economies ravaged by the lockdowns. Separately, health officials are compiling new guidelines to help organizations safely reopen when the time comes.
