’What not to do’: governor Newsom condemns California beach crowds

California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a stepping up of enforcement of restrictions after crowd of tens of thousands thronged to beaches of southern California over the weekend. ’Those images are an example of what not to see, people, what not to do...,’ the governor said. Newsom’s announcement came after officials in Orange and Ventura Counties allowed access to their beaches.
