New York state cancels June 23 presidential primary over coronavirus concerns

New York state will be canceling the June 23 presidential primary amid the pandemic, the Board of Elections said Monday. The decision will not impact primaries for congressional, state-level, and local races, which will be held the same day and largely conducted through absentee ballot.The primary had initially been scheduled for April 28 but was postponed to June 23.
