The United States of America became the first nation from across the world to record one million coronavirus cases, on Tuesday. The US recorded this figure just one day after the world recorded 3 million cases of the infectious disease. The death toll from the novel coronavirus has also exceeded 57,000, as per the Johns Hopkins University.
Pretty darn good for a pandemic that was originally predicted to kill 2+ million people and which has turned out more infectious than originally thought. Funny how the anti-Trumpers claim that the US isn't doing enough testing yet here we see that it is in fact doing a lot of testing.
We are also testing at triple the rate of the next country so this doesn't shock me.
