Second US Navy ship hit by COVID-19 outbreak returns to port

A US Navy ship, ’USS Kidd’ has been hit by Covid-19 with less than half the 300 crew tested, 47 sailors aboard were found positive.The first cases surfaced last week while the Kidd had been patrolling in the Caribbean.The ship has been ordered to head back to port in the southern California, where the crew will be evacuated & quarantined and the ship would undergo ’strategic deep-cleaning regime.’
